It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of John Garlen Turner of Oglethorpe, Georgia, born in Montezuma, Georgia, who passed away on July 15, 2022, at the age of 73, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by : his parents, J. L. Turner and Ellen Satterfield Turner; and his brothers, Lynn Turner and Carroll Turner. He is survived by : his wife Kay Collier Turner of Oglethorpe, Georgia; his children, Amanda Turner Pankey (J. J.) of Valdosta and Kyle Turner of Americus, Georgia; his grandson John Walker Pankey; his brother Dennis Turner of Oglethorpe; his sister-in-law Charlene Turner of Oglethorpe; and his pets, Gypsy, Patches, Callie and Bozo. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
