It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Mark Hambrick Poole of Oglethorpe, Georgia, who passed away on February 12, 2026, at the age of 70, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Malcolm Nicholson and Vivian Hambrick Poole; his former wife Shirley McLendon Poole; his daughter Carrie Michael Poole; and his siblings, Betty Jean Teele, Patricia Smith and Larry Poole.
He is survived by: his wife Lynn Poole; his children, Nigel Poole (Lezlie), Brittney Giles (Tyler Chapman) and Keely Mitchell (Speedy Hernandez); his grandchildren, Jasper Poole, Oren Giles, Emory Poole, Ezra Giles, Tanner Davis and Liam Davis; and his siblings, Mac Poole and Beth Poole Barfield. He is also survived by aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, friends, and friends of his children.
