Though Mary Alice has departed this earthly realm, her legacy endures — a legacy of love that will continue to illuminate the lives of family and friends in the darkest of hours. May her spirit soar on wings of eternal peace, forever cherished in the tender embrace of memory.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Dillard Jordan Adams and Finea Roberson Simpson; her husband George Jackson Smith; and her children, Jackie Smith and Linda Marie Smith.
She is survived by: her children, Johnny Smith of Oglethorpe, Steve Smith (Teresa) of Lake Seminole and Amy Carver (Robert) of Oglethorpe; her stepdaughter Alicia Brewer; and her brothers, Jerry Adams of Alma and Robert Hancock of Boykin. She is also survived by eleven grandchildren; and twenty-one great grandchildren.
