She was predeceased by : her siblings, David, Robert Pye and Priscilla Taylor. She is survived by : her husband Americus; her children, Carl Reid and Vatina Reid-Williams; her siblings, Joe Pye, Edmond Pye, Maggie Cherry, Sylvia Wyatt, Darlene Delee (Anthony) and Mary Giles; and her grandchildren, Marquise Reid, Danyel Reid, Raven Reid and Mekelle Reid. She is also survived by nieces, nephews and cousins.
