He is survived by: his significant other Berta Cox of Oglethorpe, GA; his children, Brandon, Kristen Cox of Tybee Island, GA, Ashley and Sam Way of Buena Vista, GA; his grandchildren, Gage (Melinda), Caden, Mason Cox of Breanna, CJ, Robert (Taylor), Heavenly and Livie Way; his great grandchildren, Leland and Hope; his sisters, Brenda Rigo (Paul) of Eatonton, GA and Linda Williams (Dean) of Riverview, FL; his mother-in-law Terry Griffin of Flowery Branch, GA; his siblings, Leisa Cross (Ken) and Roy Griffin (Angie); his sisters-in-law, Dot Woodard and Sheila Johnson; and his niece Nancy Tramel. He is also survived by numerous cousins, nieces, nephews.
