She was predeceased by: her parents, Monroe Freeman Sr. and Pinkie Lee Leggett Freeman; and her siblings, Mike Freeman, Fred Freeman, Johnny Freeman, Mary Adams, Minnie Bennett, Ida Mae Freeman and McArthur Freeman.
She is survived by: her son Melvin Freeman of Oglethorpe, Georgia; her brothers, Joseph Freeman, Fletcher Freeman of Montezuma and Ralph Freeman of Belle Glade, Florida; and her sisters-in-law, Martha Felder of Henderson and Dorothy Freeman of Montezuma, Georgia. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
