He was predeceased by: his parents, Johnnie Lillian Johnson Knight and Leroy Knight; his wife Patricia Paulette Knight; and his siblings, Leon, Clemon, Felton, Beason, Hermon, Joseph Knight and Jerlene Martin.

He is survived by: his sister Josephine Brooks; and his children, Michelle Queen (Matt), Wendy Andrade (Kendall) and Jason Knight (Lisa).
