With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Janelle Gibbs of Oxford, Georgia, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on February 5, 2026 at the age of 88. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Lonnie Guthrie and Marie Guthrie; and her daughter Lynn Gibbs. She is survived by: her children, Joy Cole (Allen), Dawn Berkhan (Michael) and Marty Gibbs (Darla); her grandchildren, Ryan Hurkmans, Hannah Berkhan, Haley Hurkmans, Cody Berkhan, Emily Geren, Sarah Mann, Melissa Wyche and Josh Scott; her great grandchildren, Jerrell, Brently, Jianni, Lawson, Easton, Hudson, Collins, Cooper, Alice and Spencer; and her brother Phillip Guthrie. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, other family members, and many friends.
