She was predeceased by: her parents, Willie Miller Green and Mary Lou Studdard Green; her husbands, Jimmy Neal Hester, Sr. and James M. Harman, Jr. (Sonny); and her children, Jimmy Neal Hester, Jr. and Patricia Hester Easom.

She is survived by: her daughter Pamela Hester Smith (Martin); her stepdaughter Pam Harman Jeffries; her grandchildren, Chris Jeffries (Tara), Wes Easom (Susan), Kassandra Smith and James Smith; her great grandchildren, Morgan Jeffries, Anderson Easom and Collins Easom; and her siblings, Barbara White and Phillip Green. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
