Sammy Loggins Obituary
We are sad to announce that on March 12, 2025, at the age of 73, Sammy Loggins of Palmetto, Georgia passed away. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
Though Sammy has departed this earthly realm, his legacy endures — a legacy of love that will continue to illuminate the lives of family and friends in the darkest of hours. May his spirit soar on wings of eternal peace, forever cherished in the tender embrace of memory.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Benny Duncan Loggins and Helen Cooper Loggins; his brothers, Michael Loggins, John Loggins and Leon Loggins; and his brother-in-law Ellison Brannon.
He is survived by: his wife Reneé Loggins; his children, Julie Marie Nitz, Lowell Ivan Loggins (Megan), Shane Edward Loggins (Lauren) and Thomas Leon Loggins; and his sister Rebecca Brannon. He is also survived by eight grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Friday, March 14th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Chapel of Moody-Daniel Funeral Home (10170 US-19, Zebulon, GA 30295). A funeral service was held on Saturday, March 15th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
