She was predeceased by: her parents, Omer Strickland and Lucille Strickland; and her siblings, Ruby Zornow and William Bennett. She is survived by: her children, Grace Thornton of Patterson and Danny Thornton of St. Petersburg, FL. She is also survived by 9 grandchildren; 1 great grandchild; and several nieces, nephews.
