He was predeceased by: his grandparents, T. J., Nora Mae Perry Smith and Henry Charlie Murphy; and his aunts and uncles, Sue, James Carter and Jerry Smith.
He is survived by: his daughters, Elaina Murphy of Blackshear and Ella Murphy of Blackshear; his parents, Greg Murphy, and Jan Murphy, Sr. of Douglas; his brother Brad Murphy of Patterson; his grandmother Lavonne "Polly" Moody of Glennville; his niece Alexis Adams (Ashton) of Patterson; and his aunts and uncles, Gene Smith (Janice) of Albany, Micki Smith of Bristol and Doug Murphy of Glennville. He is also survived by several other relatives and friends.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, June 12th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the Martha Memorial Methodist Church (440 Martha Memorial Loop, Bristol, GA 31518). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, June 12th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
