She was predeceased by: her parents, Thomas Henry and Lucy Springford Jackson; and her brothers, Tommy and Tony Jackson. She is survived by: her husband Brian Sturdy of Patterson; her children, Julie Smith (Chris) of Patterson, Wendy Alexander (Gerald) of Dahlonega and Rodney Sturdy (Christine) of Jefferson; and her grandchildren, Jennifer Rivers (Qaishun), Holly Hammond-Gabb (Jason), Cale Roper (Kat), Cindy O'Neal (Brad), Nick Sturdy (Miranda) and Tim Watkins (Katherine). She is also survived by 11 great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, March 22nd 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Patterson Baptist Church (5770 Main St, Patterson, GA 31557). A memorial service will be held on Saturday, March 22nd 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location. A reception will be held on Saturday, March 22nd 2025 at 3:00 PM at the same location.
