She was predeceased by: her parents, Jasper Clarence "Bud" and Mattie Lee Walker Stanfield; her husband Richard Daniel "Happy" Griffis, Sr.; her siblings, Troy (Mary), Lewis Stanfield (Sug) and Mina Griner (Davis); and her sisters-in-law, Peggy Elliot and Bobbie Jean Floyd.
She is survived by: her son Richard; her daughters-in-law, Melinda Griffis and Mikell (Joyce Griffis); her grandchildren, Jennifer Boyett (Jamie), Daniel Griffis (Tiffany), Janna Wright (Ty) and Angel Tittle (Ken); her great grandchildren, JT, Griff Boyett, Hudson, Carter Tittle, Abby Reese and Avery Wright; her sisters, Iris Cobb (Floy) and Mary Lou Tatum; and her siblings-in-law, Edra Haban (Joe), AJ Griffis (Glenda) and Tommy Floyd. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews.
