With sadness, we share the passing of Thomas Colley Sr. of Patterson, Georgia. Thomas, born on July 16, 1945 in Jesup, Georgia, passed away on September 25, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Ottis Eli and Macy Inez Douberly Colley; his siblings, Shirel Carmichael, Diane Johnson and Jerry Dale Colley; and his brothers-in-law, Johnson and Joe Carmichael.
He is survived by: his wife Patsy Ruth Cason Colley of Patterson; his children, Deena Woodcock (Kevin) of Patterson, Tara Dixon (Ken) of Patterson and Hank Colley (Regina) of Jesup; his grandchildren, Dara Stokes (Jasper), Macy Woodcock, Drei Colley (Jade), Ashton LayPort (Robert), Mickey Dixon (Taylor) and Lizzie Dixon (Taylor); his great grandchildren, Gage, Jace, Atlas, Harlow, Willow, Waverly, Liberty, Jackson, Grayson and Hayes-Brooks; and his siblings, Rev. Edward Colley (Carol) of Patterson, Gary Colley (June) of Patterson and Linda Lowman (Dewey) of Patterson. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, September 29th 2026 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Offerman Baptist Church (7225 US-84, Patterson, GA 31557). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, September 30th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests memorial contributions be made in Mr. Tommy's memory to the Offerman Baptist Church Building Fund or to the Pierce County Athletics Department.
