He was predeceased by: his parents, Elzie Roy Coursey and Erma Mae DeMoss; and his brothers, Burl and Cecil Coursey. He is survived by: his close friend Tommie Jean Echols of Peachtree City, GA.; his children, Debora Coursey (Debbie), Bonnie Coursey of Galt, CA., Patricia Compton (Chris) of Coos Bay, OR., Mark Coursey (Christie) of Powder Springs, GA. and Jason Coursey of Smyrna, GA.; and his sister Carol Coursey Dull of Vici, Oklahoma.. He is also survived by 6 grandchildren and 19 great-grandchildren.
