He was predeceased by: his parents, Jeff Pittman and Cleo Young Pittman; his granddaughter Summer Pittman; his son-in-law Jerry Riggins; his siblings, Cortez Pittman, Sam Pittman, Russell Pittman and Esta Bohanan; and the mother of his children Maxine Smith.
He is survived by: his children, Leonne Pittman (Amanda) of Pearson and Scarlett Riggins (Tom Simmons) of Pearson; his sister Shirley Pittman Smith of Homerville; and his close friend Thelma Melton of Waycross. He is also survived by 9 grandchildren, 14 great grandchildren, 1 great-great grandchild and several nieces, nephews.
