It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Hilda Faye James (Pearson, Georgia), who passed away on April 11, 2024, at the age of 73, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by : her parents, Norman Brigmond and Dorothy Brigmond (Murray); and her brothers, Paul Brigmond, Bruce Brigmond and Gary Brigmond.

She is survived by : her husband Quill James of Pearson; her sons, Jamie Vercauteren (Joyce) of Annapolis, Maryland, John Harpe (Kassie) of Douglas, Michael Lee (Candie) of Valdosta and Sam Thurston (Ann) of Douglas; her stepdaughters, April Mobley (Cliff) of Broxton and Andrea Cudd (Randy) of Douglas; and her siblings, Howard Brigmond (Maria) of Douglas, Mark Brigmond of Douglas, Jean Graham (Charlie) of Douglas and Vickie Glenn (Al) of Osierfield. She is also survived by several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and other relatives and close friends.

A funeral service was held on Saturday, April 13th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the Chapel of Relihan Funeral Home (164 S Main St, Pearson, GA 31642).
