He was predeceased by : his parents, Lawrence Thigpen and Mary Evelyn Ro; his wife Brenda Ann Chaney; and his sister JoAnne Carter. He is survived by : his children, Jesse Thigpen (Sharona) of Douglas and Mary Rosetta Minter of Broxton; his brother Jimmy Thigpen of Waycross; his grandchildren, Brianna Bowen (David), Larry Thigpen, Emily Thigpen (Ryan Fields), Jayden Thigpen, Darwin Royals, Drego Royals (Tiffany), Aaron Thigpen, Austin Snipes and Jerry Snipes; and his great grandchildren, Madalyn Bowen, Braelyn Bowen, Everlyn Bowen, Kayden Bowen and LyLyth Royals. He is also survived by Several nieces, nephews, and cousins, along with several other relatives.
