He is survived by: his wife Terri Smith of Pearson; his son Carrol Carter (Amy Duddy) of Fitzgerald; his brother Rodney Carter (Ola) of Waycross; and his grandchildren, Cameron Carter and Clayton Jesse Carter.
A graveside service will be held on Monday, November 17th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Willacoochee City Cemetery (33 Fleetwood Ave, Willacoochee, GA 31650).
