He was predeceased by: his parents, Harry Tyson and Cynthia Futch Tyson; and his siblings, Red, Mary, Cricket, Sylvia, Gayle and Buddy.
He is survived by: his wife Rebecca Tyson of Pelham; his children, Homer Tyson, Jr. (Ronnette) and Rena Burdett (Steve); his grandchildren, Trey Homer Tyson, III (Lizzie), Travis Tyson (Taylor), Ashley Tyson, Kelly, Seth Harrison, Brian and Alisha Burdett; his children, Wendy and Tim Harsey; and his siblings, Hershcel, Marsha, Nancy and Huey. He is also survived by 15 great grandchildren.
Memorial donations may be made to Childrens Orphanage or the Humane Society.
