He was predeceased by : his parents, Johnny Daniel and Alice Mae Owens Palmer; his wife Shirley Jane Willis Palmer; and his granddaughter Katrina Lynn Palmer. He is survived by : his children, James Ronald Palmer, Merrill Donald Palmer (Karen) and Melanie Palmer Pickering (David). He is also survived by numerous grandchildren, numerous great grandchildren and one great-great grandchild.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, May 15th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Macedonia Baptist Church. A funeral service was held on Wednesday, May 15th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
