She was predeceased by : her parents, Griffin Carter and Laura Norman Carter; her husband Cecil Davis; her son Willie J. "Jimmy" Davis; her sons-in-law, Carl Morey and Tommy Holton; and her brothers, Ike Carter and Carter.
She is survived by : her children, Cecelia Holton of Putney, Clare Morey of Leesburg and Juanita Jones (Lamar) of Camilla; her granddaughter Alicia Cleer (Collin) of Gray Court, SC; her sons, Richard Holton (Heather) of Albany, Carl Morey, Jr. (Candi) of Leesburg, Jason Morey (Hope) of Leesburg, Scott Carroll (Jill) of Leesburg, Michael Jones (Debbi) and Steven Jones (Mandy) of Camilla; and her sister Betty Hobbs of Monticello. She is also survived by ten great grandchildren and two great-great grandchildren.
