Walter Charlie Kinard Obituary

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Walter Charlie Kinard of Pelham, Georgia, who passed away on May 9, 2025, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Walter Charlie Kinard to pay them a last tribute.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Barney Edward and Irene Turner Kinard; and his siblings, Mary Francis Kinard Bailey, Marie Kinard Nelson, Pauline Kinard Sims, James Kinard, Frank Kinard, Eugene Kinard and Virgil Kinard.

He is survived by: his wife Marjorie Bowen Kinard; his daughters, Jan Kinard McKenzie (Johnny), Tammie Kinard Bonanni (Randy) and Connie Kinard Riddle (John); his grandchildren, John McKenzie (Sharon), Charlie McKenzie Koncul (Brian), Blake Bonanni (Elizabeth) and Allison Bonanni Gaskins (Hunter); his great grandchildren, Flint McKenzie, Macie McKenzie, McKenzie Koncul, Molly Koncul, Gray Gaskins, Isabella Bonanni and Millie Riddle; his siblings, John Thomas Kinard of Macon, Barney Lee Kinard of Vienna and Ann Kinard Nutt of Moultrie; his grandsons, John E. McKenzie, III, Hux Riddle, Bowen Riddle and Ki Riddle; and his grandsons-in-law, Hunter Gaskins and Brian Koncul. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, and friends.

To honor his memory, and in lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to be made to Hand Memorial United Methodist Church (P.O. Box 424, Pelham, Georgia 31779) where he faithfully worshiped and served.
