He was predeceased by: his parents, Alex Dowd and Ruthie Collins Dowd; his children, Derrell Dowd, Keith Turner Sr., Tonya Jonas, Cynthia Scharp and Lisa Bray; his grandson Keith Turner Jr.; his great grandchild Malachi Vasquez; his siblings, Dorothy Ringley, Mildred Scruggs and Needam Dowd; and his niece Janie Lively.
He is survived by: his wife Aloise Dowd; his children, Fred "Bubba" Radcliff of Ellabell, Christopher Bray of Brooklet, Kevin Turner (Tammy), Tony Turner (Kelly), Shay Williams (Tracy) of Guyton, Tracy Williams (Henry) of Ellabell, Shannon Mattson (Brian) of Texas, Sara Bashlor (Barry) of Bloomingdale and Tammy Rewis (Richard); and his son-in-law Jeffrey Jonas. He is also survived by 38 grandchildren, 42 great grandchildren and 3 great great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 10th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Flanders Powell Funeral Home & Crematory (197 S College St, Pembroke, GA 31321). A funeral service will be held on Friday, October 10th 2025 at 4:00 PM at the same location.
