She was predeceased by: her parents, Frank Lee Hendry and Mary Lee Denmark Hendry; her husband Charles Raymond Carter; her daughter Sandra Joy Patat Feizi; her siblings, George Therman Hendry, William Samuel Hendry, Harry Truman Hendry, Marguerite Hendry Shaw, Nettie Uldine Hendry Burnsed, Mary Lois Hendry Burnsed, Beulah Hendry Lee of Virginia, Frankie Jenell Hendry Miller and Carey Levine Hendry Bacon; and her grandson Nathaniel Thomas Russell Patat.
She is survived by: her son Eric P. Patat (April) of Alabaster; and her granddaughter Sophie Elizabeth Patat of Alabaster.
