He was predeceased by: his parents, Roscoe Rawls Sr. and Leola Johnson Rawls of Pembroke, Georgia.; his wife Arlinda Denson Rawls; and his siblings, Pinkie Rawls Mikell, Willie Albert Rawls, Roscoe Rawls Jr. and Sylvester Rawls.
He is survived by: his children, Gordon Rawls Jr. (Jennifer), Sharon Rawls Corbin (Kevin) and Crystal Lynn Rawls; his godchildren, Kimberly Watkins and Tony Johnson; his siblings, Doretha Rawls Clifton (James), Exilee Rawls Pelt (Andre), Emma Lee Rawls Robinson (Bobby), Oliver Rawls Sr. and Jerome Rawls (Brenda); his siblings-in-law, Berdie Ware (Harry), Valerie Burns (Leroy), Carlton Denson and Burmon Denson (Lena); his aunt Rachel Rawls Walden (Oscer); and his uncle Emory Rawls (Judy). He is also survived by 12 grandchildren and 16 great grandchildren and one great- great grandchild.
