He is survived by: his wife Joan Crosby Cowart; his daughters, Gwin Baker (Mark) of Richmond Hill and Donna Jo Gilder (Chris) of Pembroke; his sister Jewel Owens of Pembroke; his grandchildren, Kenneth Baker, Jennifer Drake and Derek Smith; and his great grandchildren, Jared, Mason, Tristan, Adilyn and Karlie.
