He was predeceased by: his parents, Claude Henry Hicks and Jessie Eliese Roberson Hicks; and his brothers, David Hicks and Charles Hicks. He is survived by: his wife Alethea Robertson Hicks; his children, Daryl Hicks (Alison) of Milford, DE, Connie Wells (Rhonda) of Pembroke and Angela Fisher (Ken) of Pleasant Shade, TN; his brother-in-law Charles "Chuck" Coleman (Shirley); his grandchildren, Amber Mansur (Michael), Tara Napier (Jamie), Dalton Matthews (Madi), Rebecca Vaden (Trevor), Chris Paulson (Taylee) and Jacob Fisher; and his great grandchildren, Olivia, Jade, Jeorgia, Jaxon, Jaylin, Oliver, Annabella, Axl, Raylan, Autumn and Grayson.
