He was predeceased by: his parents, William Calvin Lanier, Sr. and Pauline Nason Lanier; and his brother David Shawn Lanier. He is survived by: his children, Calvin Lanier, III (Statesboro) and Kayla Lanier of Statesboro; his sisters, Brenda Ardito (Vincent) of North Haven, CT and Sandra McKinney (Gregg) of Glastonbury, CT; his sister-in-law Kathy Lanier of Millen; his close friend Michele Hagen of Pembroke; and his grandchildren, Kameron Mayes and Khloe Mayes. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
