We are sad to announce that on September 26, 2021, at the age of 86, Marvin Kent of Pendergrass, Georgia, born in Maysville, Georgia passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by : his parents, Hoke Smith Kent and Mattie Tate Kent; the mother of his children Jimmie Anderson Kent; his brothers, Raymond and Thomas Edgar Kent; and his stepson Tim Densmore.

He is survived by : his wife Doris Densmore Kent of Pendergrass; his sons, Mark Kent (Kelley) of Maysville and Jim Kent (Jenny) of Maysville; his grandchildren, Isaac and Hannah Kent; his siblings, Shelton Kent of Gainesville, Reba Dale of Maysville, Irene Lance of Jefferson and Laraine Wilson of Commerce; his stepsons, Daniel Densmore Steve (Debra) and Joey Densmore (Shelena); and his stepdaughter-in-law Carrie Densmore.

A memorial service will be held at a later date when the Covid-19 Pandemic has subsided.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Unity Christian Church, 70 Unity Church Circle, Maysville, Georgia. 30558.
