He was predeceased by : his father E. L. "Smokey" Brookshire; his wife Kimberly "Kim" Adams Brookshire; and his brother David Brookshire. He is survived by : his mother Sara Smallwood Brookshire of Pendergrass; his children, Ashley Hopper (Shane) of Winder, Tiffany Wheeler (Jamie) of Jefferson, Stephany Eubanks (Zach) of Commerce and Blake Brookshire (Melissa) of Hoschton; and his brothers, Norman Brookshire (Kathy) of Commerce and Duane Brookshire (Helen) of Oakwood.
