She was predeceased by: her parents, Tom P. Boatright and Hedy Boatright. She is survived by: her husband Milner Hawes; her brother Tom Boatright, Jr.; her children, Larry Turner (Vinita) and Melba Bragg; and her stepchildren, Geri Whitfield, Bruce Hawes (Jury), Gary Hawes (Nancy) and David Hawes (Connie). She is also survived by 5 grandchildren, 7 great-grandchildren, 16 step-grandchildren, 17 step-great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Sunday, July 13th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Crowe Fields Funeral Home, Inc. (364 E Winthrope Ave, Millen, GA 30442). A funeral service was held on Monday, July 14th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Habersham United Methodist Church (2060 Habersham Church Rd, Perkins, GA 30822). A burial was held on Monday, July 14th 2025 at the Elam Baptist Church Cemetery (5199 Elam Rd, Millen, GA 30442).
