She was predeceased by: her parents, Doyle Lanier and Dorothy Neal Lanier; her brother Tyson Lanier; and her husband Shelton Chance. She is survived by: her son Seth Chance (Shayna); her grandson Rowan Chance; her sisters, Becky Powell, Debbie Singletary (Dwight), Donna Scott (Johnny) and Barbara Stevens; and her nibling Raina Chance.
