He was predeceased by: his parents, T. J. Smith and Rosa Lee Smith (Clark); and his siblings, Jack Smith, Margaret Collins and Frances Nichols.
He is survived by: his wife Joy Cory Smith; his children, Ty Smith (Mandy) of Grayson and Tess Smith of Loganville; his grandchildren, Breslin Collier (Grant), Cory Hagan, Caroline Bennett (Kyle), Laurel Smith, Bella Wimburn (Jackson), Emmy Hagan and Ava Smith; and his brother Cecil Smith (Shirley) of Atlanta. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family respectfully requests that memorial contributions be made to the Christ's Sanctified Holy Church's location in Between, Georgia.
