It is with great sadness that we announce the death of David Anderson (Perry, Georgia), who passed away on January 21, 2026, at the age of 79, leaving to mourn family and friends. In the vast expanse of eternity, David shall find rest, cradled in the arms of everlasting peace. And as we bid David farewell, his loved ones carry with them the precious gift of his memory, a beacon of hope guiding them through the shadows of sorrow towards the light of a new dawn.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Earl Anderson and Elizabeth Hill Anderson; and his brother Walter Raymond Anderson. He is survived by: his wife Linda Faye Hicks Anderson; his sons, Bonner Pittman, Jr. (Kim) of Lincolnton, NC, David James "Jamie" Anderson Jr. (Melania) of Forsyth, GA, Gerald "Jerry" Anderson of Hephzibah, GA and Stephen Anderson (Anna) of Benton, TN; and his sisters, Joan Denton (Dan) of Macon, GA and Judy Obitko of Byron, GA. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews, and cousins.
