He was predeceased by: his parents, Elbert Powell and Bobbie Reeves Powell; and his wife Linda R. Powell. He is survived by: his brothers, Kenneth Powell (Sandra) and Donnie Powell of Cochran; and his stepchildren, Tim Hunter (Kim) and Tammy Whitehead (Phillip). He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, step-grandchildren, and step-great-grandchildren.
