He was predeceased by: his parents, James Douglas and Eliza Ward Holmes of Perry, Georgia.. He is survived by: his wife Paulette Holmes of Lowell, FL; his children, Bernadine Holmes-Cotton (Quinton), Senthia Brigham, Adon Williams (Patricia) and Russell Woodard of Lowell, FL; and his brother Horace Holmes of Warner Robins, GA. He is also survived by ten grandchildren, twenty great-grandchildren, a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
