She was predeceased by: her father G. T. Adams; her husband J. Paul Middlebrooks, Jr.; her sons, J. Paul Middlebrooks, III and David G. Middlebrooks (Cindy Lewis); her granddaughters, Melissa Westphal (Dominic) and Samantha Vaughn (Robert); her great grandchildren, Miller Westphal, Audrey Vaughn and Addison Vaughn; and her siblings, Freddy Bieber (Yvonne), Dan Adams (Nancy) and Darlene Layson (Gerald).
