She was predeceased by: her parents, Roy Brown and Lessie Brown; her husband Herb Potts; and her brothers, Don Brown and Doyle Brown.

She is survived by: her sons, Jim Potts (Genie) of Mt. Pleasant, Ron Potts of Atlanta and Darryl Potts of Perry; her grandchild Jamie Potts; and her sister Floyce Barron of Perry. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews.
