He was predeceased by: his parents, Fred Stokes and Doris Howard Stokes; his daughter LeAnn Stokes; his siblings, Clara Malone and Jimmy Stokes; and his niece Ginger Stokes Woodell.
He is survived by: his wife Sandy Brooks Stokes; his daughters, Trena (Micky Fuller) and Kelly (Charlie Stevens); his grandsons, Mac Stevens (Cierra), Jimmy Stevens and Josh Fuller (Jessica); and his great grandchild Hunter Fuller. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews.
