He was predeceased by: his parents, Luther Surrency and Lorraine Surrency. He is survived by: his children, Jacques "Joc" Surrency, Jr. and Jada Surrency; and his sisters, Donna Surrency, Nycole Surrency and Cassandra Hill.
A wake was held on Sunday, September 27th 2026 from 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Springfield Baptist Church (523 Martin Luther King Jr St, Thomson, GA 30824). Visitation will be held on Tuesday, September 29th 2026 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the Pettigrew Center at Fort Valley State University. A procession will be held on Tuesday, September 29th 2026 at 12:30 PM at the Sureka Latimore's Residence (1444 Willow Lake Rd, Fort Valley, GA 31030). Viewing will be held on Tuesday, September 29th 2026 at 1:00 PM at the Pettigrew Center. A burial will be held on Wednesday, September 30th 2026 at 1:00 PM. A repast will be held on Wednesday, September 30th 2026.
