He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Gerald Layson and Emma Darlene Layson (Adams) of Perry; his siblings, Kelly Clark (Calvin) of Bonaire, Georgia, Christi Evangelo (Ryan) of Perry, Georgia and Patrick Layson (Erin) of St. Paul, Minnesota.; his nieces, Cally Clark, Chloe Evangelo, Maggie Evangelo and Olivia Evangelo; his grandparents, Grayson (GT), Louise Adams of Macon, James and Sula Layson of Perry, Georgia; his great-uncle James; his aunts and uncles, Pat Meaders, Donna Middlebrooks, Dan Adams, Fred Bieber and Jimmy Layson; and his cousins, David Middlebrooks and Ruth Marie Koske.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, October 4th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Memorial Heights Baptist Church (521 General Courtney Hodges Blvd, Perry, GA 31069). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 4th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the same location.
