He is survived by: his wife Diane Rembisz Barfield of Perry; his children, Terri Wensyel (Mark) of Athens, Alabama and Charles "Tommy" Barfield (Jocelyn) of Perry; his grandchildren, Tessa Schueler (Michael) of Crestview and Quinn Wensyel of Athens, Alabama; and his brother Clyde Barfield (Mickie) of Byromville.
