She was predeceased by: her parents, John Arthur Echols, Sr. and Mamie Ruth Wise Echols; her husband Jimmy Stubbs; her brother John Arthur Echols, Jr.; and her son Benjamin Bronson "Bronnie" Stubbs.
She is survived by: her sons, Steve Stubbs (Mary) of Fernandina, FL, Allen Stubbs (Robert Hargrove) of Elko, GA and Wayne Stubbs (Luelle) of Hayesville, NC; and her grandchildren, Bronson Stubbs (Lisa), Tyler Stubbs, Will Stubbs, Ben Stubbs (Jen) and James Stubbs (Katie). She is also survived by seven great-grandchildren.
