She was predeceased by: her parents, Robert Scoggins and Edie Abercrombie Scoggins; her stepfather Ed McCollum; and her aunts, Nellie Abercrombie and Nettie Matthews.
She is survived by: her husband Larry G. Gray of Perry; her daughter Jeannie; her son-in-law Donnie Davis of Lenoir City, Tennessee; her granddaughters, Ashley Ouellette (Thomas) of Lenoir City and Katie Davis of Lakewood Ranch, Florida; and her great grandchildren, Penelope Ouellette and Henry Ouellette.
A memorial service will be held on Thursday, October 9th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Perry Methodist Church (1002 Carroll St, Perry, GA 31069).
Memorial contributions may be made in Marlene's name to the donor's favorite charity.
