She was predeceased by : her parents, William Ellis and Jessie Newberry Skipper; and her siblings, William Ellis Skipper, Jr., Clyde Louis Skipper, Louise Skipper George, Jackie Skipper and Charlene Skipper Booker.

She is survived by : her husband Wilfred Kusuda of Perry; her children, Kathie Stone (John) of Bonaire, Sandy Kusuda (Greg Winchester) of Perry and Kevin Kusuda (Deidria) of San Antonio, TX; and her granddaughter Sarah Natsue Stone of Orlando, FL.

Visitation was held on Monday, April 29th 2024 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Watson - Hunt Funeral Home (1208 Main St, Perry, GA 31069). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, April 30th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A graveside service was held on Tuesday, April 30th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the Andersonville National Cemetery (496 Cemetery Road, Andersonville, GA 31711).
