He was predeceased by: his parents, George Oscar and Eula Mae Padgett; his siblings, Talmadge Padgett, Alberta Lewis and John Padgett; his children, Tabatha McDowell (Walter Franklin) of Bonaire, Phillip Padgett (Jennifer) of Elko and Wendy Offenberg (Warren) of Elko; his grandchildren, Lacey McDowell (Caitlin), Ashley Lowell (Cory), Walter Clint McDowell, Katlyn Britt (Grant), Matthew Offenberg (Shelby), Cole Padgett (Mia) and Emma Riggin; his great grandchildren, Emme Grace, McKinley Lowell, John Thomas, Elijah Michael, Everly Jo, Amalie Mackswell and Bailey Kaye; and his nephew Alex Padgett (Kathy) of Perry.
He is survived by: his wife Eloise Horne; his brother Kenneth Padgett (Sara) of Perry; and his children, Makenzie (John), Logan and Belgian Malinois (Sierra). He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family respectfully requests memorial donations be made to the Shriner's Children's Hospital, 950 West Faris Road, Greenville, South Carolina 29605, for the years of care they provided to his special needs grandson, Clint, in his youth, OR to Heart of Georgia Hospice, 103 Westridge Drive, Warner Robins, Georgia 31088, for the commitment of comfort to peaceful transitions, not only for Oris, but for families in Central Georgia.
