In the sacred silence of farewell, Phyllis is released into the embrace of eternity, knowing that her light will continue to shine brightly in the tapestry of the lives of her loved ones. And as her memory is carried forward, may comfort be found in the knowledge that love is eternal, and that Phyllis' spirit lives on in the beauty that surrounds us.
She was predeceased by: her former husband Tommy Purvis, Jr.; and her parents, A. G. Windham and Florie Windham. She is survived by: her husband Ellis Carpenter of Perry; her son Zack Purvis of Perry; and her siblings, Martin Windham (Phyllis) of Reynolds and Carlene Capebianco (Joey) of LaGrange.
Visitation was held on Monday, May 26th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Perry Methodist Church (1002 Carroll St, Perry, GA 31069). A funeral service was held on Monday, May 26th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Perry Methodist Church.
