He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles C. Kay and Mary Blalock Kay; and his former wife Vivian Louise Moore Kay. He is survived by: his wife Odessa Hart Kay of Perry, GA; his children, Kathy Spratlin (Wayne) of Madison, MS, Steve Kay of Ft. Walton, FL and Dr. David Kay (Clelia) of Macon, GA; his sister Lucy Grant (Jessie) of Auburn; his grandchildren, Allen Haefner, Bryan Haefner, Savannah Kay, Caroline Kay and David Alejandro Kay; and his great grandchildren, Charlotte and Emerson.
